One day can make all the difference
Our perspective can change overnight, as we are all learning right now. What seemed like unhappiness, or a problem yesterday, can seem like a glimpse of contented peacefulness today. During this time I am attempting to practice the habit of gratitude, especially for things that bring comfort. If it is a day when I can't summon the mental strength for creativity, then let that be a day when I work on the mechanical aspects of my art practice (updating my website for example). And if the day brings too much heaviness even for that, then let that be a day when I rest or read, and collect my thoughts so I can be ready for that next burst of energy. Because it will come.
